In 2018, nine Navitas staff were successfully awarded fellowships of the globally recognised organisation – the Higher Education Academy (HEA). HEA Fellowship is an evidence-based method of recognising the work of staff teaching and supporting learning in higher education. It’s a positive step towards building the capacity of teaching staff in Navitas.

Applying for HEA Fellowship is achieved through an individual portfolio of evidence. It is a significant task and requires deep consideration, evidence and critical reflection of teaching practice and educational leadership. Navitas Learning and Teaching Services has developed a ‘wrap around’ support program to assist applicants through this process, create a network of peer support and feedback, along with expert feedback mechanisms.

In this webinar, Christina Del Medico and Ann Wilson will outline the process and structure of the HEA Fellowship scheme and share their insights and experience of applying for Senior Fellowship.

This webinar is suitable for anyone who is interested in finding out more about HEA fellowship, including those considering applying.
