Facilitating group work in face to face classes is often a challenge and trying to run group work in online classes can be even more challenging! However, research does show that online students benefit from the skills and knowledge gained when participating in groups within their online classes. Social connection, group work skills and communication are all promoted as well as the potential for deeper learning through engagement.

If you have been thinking of ways to get students interacting and working in small groups within your online classes, this PD event will introduce you to some of the issues faced and the solutions to consider.
