Christina Del Medico, SFHEA – Associate Director, Learning & Teaching Transformations – L&T Services
Karen McRae, SFHEA – Manager, Academic Education – L&T Services
The globally recognised organisation, Advance HE (previously Higher Education Academy), is an independent non-profit organisation committed to world-class teaching in higher education. Advance HE offers an evidenced based approach to recognise teaching excellence, which is a positive step towards building the capacity of teaching staff in Navitas to support student success.
Applying for Fellowship with Advance HE is through an individual ‘portfolio of evidence’. It is a significant task and requires deep consideration, evidence, and critical reflection of teaching practice and educational leadership. This is why L&T Services developed the Navitas HEA Fellowship Program: a ‘wrap around’ support program to assist applicants through this process, create a network of peer support and feedback, along with expert feedback mechanisms. To date, 22 Navitas staff members have been awarded Fellowship with the support of this program.
In this webinar, Christina Del Medico and Karen McRae will:
- outline the process and structure of the Fellowship scheme
- share their insights and experience of applying for Senior Fellowship
- explain next steps for being accepted into the Navitas Advance HE Fellowship Program.

I can’t attend the session, will there be another one?

I would like to apply for the Navitas HEA Fellowship Program. Is everyone who applies accepted into the program?
