Navitas (UPA) shortlisted as a finalist for the 2021 PIEoneer Awards

Congratulations to the UPA Division for being shortlisted as a finalist for the 2021 PIEoneer Awards in the category of Digital Innovation of the Year – Learning.

UPA’s submission was centred around the Flexible Learning Project that describes how the division responded to the challenge of the pandemic with a new delivery model for students. The submission also evidenced the impact of the innovation to date.

Flexible Learning is a design model based on the principles of flexibility, equivalency, versatility, accessibility and connectivity which enables students to attend classes face-to-face or online, synchronously or asynchronously, forming one single learning community. Navitas UPA colleges have been redeveloping and implementing units in this new flexible learning model.

This year PIEoneer Awards submissions were the most competitive to date, with the Awards receiving over 50% more entries than last year. To be selected as a category finalist shows the exceptional standard of the Flexible Learning Project, a showcase of the excellent work that is being carried out across Navitas (UPA), that is exemplary in the global education industry.

To be shortlisted for this award is a tremendous achievement, and testament to the extraordinary efforts undertaken by the division and our UPA colleges over the past 12 months. Well done to everyone involved!
