Strategy Sessions: Creating interactive classroom and web experiences in Moodle

Moodle offers a lot of tools in bringing lessons to life. It also allows us to re-imagine assessments; how we can prepare students for summative assessments and create engaging formative assessments. In this event two teachers share ways they have improved assessment activities using Moodle.

In this recording, Catherine Sicurella presents on the power of PowerPoint in creating online summary videos of offline lectures and Apsara Sabaratnam looks at how to engage students by bringing content to life using interactive tools such as H5P. She will use Marketing as an example to demonstrate how H5P can be used to create rich, interactive and engaging web experiences when teaching fundamental skills such as writing business reports and when discussing video content such as advertisements.
