The introduction of Medicare\, the implementation of the Natio nal Registration and Accreditation Scheme\, changes to the Australian Priv acy Legislation\, and the emergence of different models of service provisi on are just some of the changes that have made the practice of psychology more complex and challenging.\n\nPsychologists practising in the professio n are required to abide by the principles in the APS Code of Ethics but ap plying these principles to real life situations is not always straightforw ard. To support members a Professional Advisory Service was established an d in 2015 alone\, responded to over 8\,000 queries.
