About this module
What factors impact the retention and success of Navitas students? How can we support our students as they transition to higher education, and help them to develop a sense of institutional belonging, connection, and community? In this module, you will be introduced to retention in the Navitas context. You will explore retention and student success and why it is a critical element of Navitas’ strategic goal of delivering world class quality through excellent student outcomes. You will explore key drivers of student retention at Navitas colleges, consider how these can be leveraged to improve student outcomes and design a teacher-led transition strategy to support your learners to navigate the transition to higher education.

Delivery
Retention in the Navitas Context will be available on the L&T Moodle platform, and you will have continuous access to the module from when you start. There will be light-touch moderation, various activities and opportunities for peer-to-peer interaction, and an assessment task to submit at the end of the module. This module requires approximately 3-5 hours to complete. Further information will be provided in the module.
Successful completion
Upon successful completion of the final assessment task, you will be awarded with a Navitas badge for this module to add to your Credly backpack, and to share with others in your social network sites.
