Navitas Digital Badges

Navitas is committed to supporting academic teaching staff through their professional development journey. As part of Teaching Excellence at Navitas (TEN), participants who successfully complete TEN modules will receive a Navitas digital badge. Digital badges will describe the module undertaken or a particular achievement reached, such as a college macro badge (consisting of four modules). Additionally, earners will be able to share Navitas digital badges on social media (such as LinkedIn and Twitter) or add them to email signatures and digital resumes.

Earn

TEN modules are open to all Navitas academic staff globally. To earn a Navitas digital badge participants need to successfully complete a module final assessment task. Assessment tasks criteria and rubrics are available in each module. After successfully completing a module, earners will be advised through an email notification from ‘Navitas via Acclaim‘ of their achievement.

Claim

Once earned, Navitas digital badges are claimed from Credly’s Acclaim platform. Instructions on how to set up an account, and claim a badge are sent to each recipient to their work email. Participants are advised to also include an additional personal email account to ensure continuous access to their Credly Acclaim account. Share

Earners are able to share their badges with their employers, colleagues and networks on social media including LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. Digital badges can be also shared via email, embedded in a website or an email signature. Click here for more information: How to share your badges
