What does curriculum redesign do for students?

The SIBT curriculum review in 2015 heralded major changes to the way we achieve student outcomes and engage our students, particularly in terms of blending on campus and technology enhanced learning. As part of this review, we made changes to our Accounting B, ACTG101 (Diploma of Commerce) course that have had some quite dramatic results; including increased engagement, development in language and employability skills, as well as improved achievement and participation rates.

As a lecturer in accounting and financial accounting, I have been working for Navitas for eight years so was delighted to be given the opportunity to re-develop and implement these new course features.
