About this module
In this module you will develop experience in, and a working understanding of successful online teaching pedagogies that can be applied to your own teaching contexts. The module provides a practically and pedagogically focused foundation for participants who are new to teaching online for the first time, or, for experienced teaching staff, to improve the effectiveness of their existing online teaching practice. You will have the opportunity to explore learning technologies available for online teaching through effective online engagement strategies, with a focus on designing and facilitating a welcoming, well-organised and safe online learning community.
TEN modules are designed to support you with the delivery of high-quality student experiences, while building teaching capabilities, embracing learning and teaching challenges, and being responsive to changes in education. On successful completion of this module you will be able to:

This collection of capabilities enables you to engage students with strategies to progress their achievement of learning outcomes.
TEN modules are available on the L&T Moodle platform, and you will have continuous access to the module from when you start. There will be light-touch moderation, various opportunities for peer-to-peer interaction, as well as multiple assessment submission points throughout the year. This module requires approximately 3-5 hours to complete.
