In this presentation, Michele Furlong will demonstrate some basic ways to use Powerpoint to enhance your teaching. Regardless of whether you teach online, on-campus or blended delivery there are creative ways that Powerpoint slides can be designed to engage students with more than just text. Michele will show you how to:
- Plan your presentation for optimal delivery
- Enhance the visual appeal of slides
- Manage Slideshows including animations, transition effects
- Customise PowerPoint including changing colours, backgrounds, master pages and templates
- Use shapes and SmartArt to communicate concepts with flow charts or mindmaps
- Use images to create an impact including how to find and insert images
