Joining the dots: a transition framework at Griffith College
How can we create the right kind of support for pathway students during their course, giving them the additional resources they need whilst also preparing them for a more independent study routine in the 2nd year of a university course? How can a closer relationship with university partners help to bridge the gap and create strategies that work across the whole student lifecycle?
In this wide-ranging panel session, Ann and colleagues from Griffith College talked about their experience working together with Griffith University to create a joint framework for student transition. Building on input from student focus groups and research with Griffith staff, these two institutions have been able to form a shared understanding to tackle the tricky gap between the pathway college and university.
