Technology Tuesday – ‘Google Sites & ePortfolios’
The Technology Tuesday series provides an opportunity to engage with a bite-sized idea about how we can better use a piece of technology in the classroom. The sessions are just 30 minutes in duration and hosted online so you can join no matter where you are. [This series is organised and run by Griffith College. On Tuesday 17th May, we were joined by Sarah Prestridge. Her research interests focus on teacher professional learning in the use of ICT. This Technology Tuesday event focused on the use of Google Sites as a free and easily accessible tool to support the development of ePortfolios. Sarah explored the underlying pedagogy and rationale for the use of ePortfolios, how she has employed Google Sites in her course in ICT in education, and offers some suggestions as to how you may be able to employ these tools in your teaching.
